Black and white tegu. Do not try this at home. Very few tegus
get this friendly.
LA
Some black and white tegus bite first and
ask questions later.

Green basilisks look even better. And large ones look better than
little guys.

Yellow-throated plated lizard sounds more impressive than "skink."

these last few years.

Since he's not stressed, he feels no need to flex his frills.

I'm almost done reading your site but still have all the Q&A s to cover.
That will still take a long time!
Anyways, you said if I found any mistakes I could reply. Nearly
everything has been 100% accurate and I must commend you for that. There
is one little mistake that I caught. This guy is a five-lined skink.
They also known as the blue-tailed skink. The adults usually lose the
blue color in their tail. These were the first lizards that I ever
caught as a kid and were under nearly every tree bark that I peeled off
a dead tree lying on the ground.
I thought that you might want to properly ID this guy or he may forget
to send you a birthday card!
LA
Tiger ameiva -- good eater.
LA
Flame or fire-sided skink. Likes to bite other lizards.
LA
Striking colors.
LA
Jeweled curly-tail -- another hearty eater.
LA
Colorful underneath also.
LA
Small crested gecko -- friendly but expensive.
LA
Slightly darker and larger crested gecko.
LA
Crested gecko -- not as mean as he looks. Note the big feet.
LA
Not really mean. He's just being pestered.
