December 16, 2007. Time to start a new page.
LA
LA
10-inch shortnose gar.
LA
More of a close up.
LA
He's a wimpy eater. He only eats dead (small) goldfish.
LA
He'll take 10 minutes to grab it.
LA
And about thirty seconds to swallow it.
LA
i-inch pygmy corys (Corydoras hastatus)
LA
Flower shrimp (or wood shrimp or Singapore shrimp or one of each)
LA
Vietnamese mudskipper taking it easy.

Thomas Marsch, May 6, 2010
The Unknown Synodontis in misc odd vi is Synodontis contractus, a
Bugeye Synodontis. It has a common adult size of 4 inches.
A: Thanks for your info. I'm adding it to the page.

Not his best profile.

Crayfish love.
LA
Cooperative pair of diamond tetras.
LA
Paddletail newt lurking in the lily pad.
LA
Somewhat enceinte female gardneri killifish. Syn. decorus in

care).
LA
Two Synodontis in 2-inch pots.
LA
6-inch unhappy red devil.
LA
Albino cardinal tetras. Uncommon, expensive, and not that

Charlie, Australia, February 13, 2008
I'm pretty sure the last fish you pictured on
http://www.aqualandpetsplus.com/Oddballs,%20Misc%20V1.htm as
anostomus
is
actually Leporinus fasciatus also called Banded Leporinus. Also
just wanted to say
thanks for a great and informative website. I've used it for a couple of
years now
(all the way in Australia) and regularly check your updates for the new
fish or unusual
critters. Cheers
A: You are so right. Thanks for catching my goof.
