When I came back, no water had been removed. Then I noticed this guy stuck in the bell. This is one of those shaka-shaka self starting vacuums. He could not get out, even when I lifted the bell (and him) a foot out of the water and shook it. The self-starting valve would let zero air in. He was vapor locked. Since he's an air breather, he would soon drown if I could not get him out. I couldn't even blow him out because of the one-way valve. I had to pound a hole in the valve with a Phillips screw driver and a rubber mallet. As soon as the air got in, he slid right out. He has several good scrapes to help him remember his excellent adventure. LA Three weeks later he has a couple orange war wounds to help him re-call the event. LA 14-inch pacu.
